For those who are interested, here are some more photos from the trip:

River that we forded in Wyoming

We forded this river, backpacks and all.

Trail in Wyoming

The mosquitoes were terrible in the wet areas like this!

Union Falls

Union Falls. It’s hard to tell from this photo, but this waterfall was HUGE! It was an impressive site. We hiked several miles through plenty of elevation change, forded the river in the previous picture, and battled the mosquitoes, all in 90+ degree heat in order to get here. We then had to hike through all of that again to get back!

Wildfire near Moran in Teton Wilderness

A wildfire broke out near Moran in the Teton Wilderness while we were in Yellowstone. We were told that the fire was about 30 miles from us. The next morning, the wind direction had changed, and when we woke up, the smoke had filled the air around us like a thick fog.

$28,000 grizzly bear for sale

Want to buy a grizzly bear? You’d better have deep pockets. This Jackson Hole store had it priced at $28,000. They had numerous other mounted animals for sale as well.

We also saw a black bear. He was clearly hungry and searching for food.
