Welcome to joshbellblog.com! I am Josh Bell, and this is my blog and your home for intimate and intrinsic personal growth as well as all things related to personal development training and self help. It is my hope that you will find inspiration here for becoming more productive, learning how to better manage your time, tools for problem solving, creating value, finding balance in life, achieving your goals and success in general, and whole lot more. If you find some new insight or anything that is of value to you before you leave my website, then I have succeeded.
Life should be a journey of perpetual growth - an adventure of constant personal development,
and one should strive to maintain a continual effort to improve and evolve oneself as an individual.
Here at joshbellblog.com, it is my goal to give you a myriad of tools for just that. The resources here will help you to become more introspective, creating a strong desire in you to examine the building blocks that you are comprised of. You may find building blocks that you feel could be strengthened, leading you to search for the proper components to reinforce those weaker links. That is the essence of personal development.
Intimate and intrinsic personal growth is about taking an intimate look at yourself on the inside, from the ground floor up, finding the tools that you need in order to renovate, and ultimately achieving intrinsic personal growth. It won’t be easy. True personal development virtually never is. It starts with learning to take responsibility for every aspect of your own life. No more excuses. You must have the self discipline and the maturity to hold yourself accountable. Self discipline can be developed through self help and personal development training, but as for maturity, well, only so much can be done about that! I’d wager that chances are pretty good, however, that since you’re here, maturity isn’t an issue.
Like anything worth having in life, personal growth through self help will take time. This isn’t something that you’re going to get instant gratification out of. You have to be disciplined and patient.
Many aspects of achieving intrinsic personal growth will require practice and determination.
However, if you have the right personal development guide and are willing to put in the time and effort, you will be amazed at how much you can improve virtually all facets of your life.
Learn to influence your thoughts, your actions, your emotions, your social interactions, your career, your finances, and your relationships to all come into harmony with each other to create a peaceful balance in your life like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. Once you have achieved this harmony and balance, you can start living up to the fullest extent of your potential.
The goal of personal development training should be just that.
This blog is currently very young, having just launched in June of 2011, but that will quickly change. I have every intention for this blog to be very rich in content, and for it to be a destination for positive, resourceful enlightenment. It will evolve and grow as I do and as readers do. Topics will be many, but the theme will persistently revolve around progressive and ambitious growth driven by an infinite desire to improve as a person.
Personal development is not just something that I write about, you know. It’s something that I practice every day in my own life. I think it’s very important to always want to be better. Merely wanting to be better isn’t enough though. It’s only beneficial if you use that desire to be better to motivate yourself to actually try to become better. I routinely put a considerable amount of time and effort into actively trying to become better. It is an ongoing goal for me to always be creating more value in my life. I wish to impart to readers the many ways that I go about doing this, as well as the things that work for me versus the things that don’t work or haven’t worked for me.
Think about personal development like this. I realize that it may sound like common sense to some people, but many others have never thought about it. If you are continually creating more value in your life, then your life is always becoming more valuable. This doesn’t necessarily mean in a monetary sense, although it can include that. It means that the sum of the parts that make up your life totals a better and more exquisite existence. It’s like a wine that becomes better with age, except the wine doesn’t have to work at it like we do. That is what personal development and personal growth are all about.
